First Bath!

Paityn received her first bath this morning. She didn't even cry until I took her out of the water.

We're home!

We came home yesterday (Thurs) morning. Great Grandma & Grandpa Loy came to visit along with Kristin & Kris. Also while Paityn was taking a nap in her boppy, Zoe jumped up there to check her out. She ended up falling asleep as well.

HELLO WORLD! PAITYN HAFNER HERE

Well, Paityn made her way into the world Tuesday, December 11, 2007 @ 8:20 pm. She weighed 5 pounds, 13.5 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is doing absolutely wonderful! Mommy & Daddy are so very very proud!

Nap Time

After a long morning playing in the snow, Zoe & Harley cuddled up together on the couch to take a nap. They look like angels when they are sleeping.

The first snow

Harley & Zoe love to play in snow & what a surprise when they woke up yesterday morning and there was a nice blanket of snow. Chris & I couldn't resist the opportunity to take them out & play & get some good pictures.

Trip #1

On Monday we had to go to the hospital for the entire day to have my "cervix rippened". I know it sounds gross, but that's what they call it. Obviously it didn't throw me into labor like it was supposed to but it did slightly "rippen" me up.

An Akward Sight

Harley had to spend the weekend at the vet's office due to an eye infection & build up of fluid on his eye. We picked him up this afternoon & he has to wear this akward colar to keep him from messing with his eye for a week. Looks awfully weird.

Cutting Wood

Sunday morning, Chris & I decided to go cut a load of wood for Chris' dad. Zoe came along to be our little "Helper".

9 months Pregnant!

I thought I would never get to this point, but here are my nine month pictures. What a change from my 2 month picture. Now, the real waiting game begins....

Christmas Tree is Up!!!

Well, since I wasn't sure when our baby was/is going to make its appearance, I had my tree put up & decorate the week before Thanksgiving. I figured that if the baby made an early appearance, I would never get it up. So happy to be able to enjoy it!

Another Ultrasound

Tuesday we had another ultrasound to check on the baby. I've been going to the doctor every week for about a month & half due to my gestational diabetes. Everything looked really good except for the fact that they said the baby is measuring in under weight. Which is unusual due to the fact of my diabetic situation. Normally, with gestational diabetes, the baby's will actually grow & put on weight much much faster than a normal pregnancy. So this Tuesday the doctor is going to be running a Non Stress Test. Keep us in your prayers as we get through these next couple of weeks.
Also, I know some of you were wanting to see some pictures of the ultrasound, well since everything is now pretty crowded in there, we were not able to get any face shots but we do have one good one of the foot & toes.

Kaple Baby Shower

Laurie & Lisa had a baby shower for me on Sunday. Wow, what a great shower. We received so many great things that we need and the food & company was much appreciated. Thanks so much for all the gifts and all of your hard work!!!

Hafner Baby Shower

Saturday, Chris' sisters, Amy and April, through me a baby shower. We received so many nice things that we will get lots of use. What a great day!

A day with Falynn

I started babysitting Falynn Schumacher on Friday. We had a great day and of course I couldn't stop taking pictures of her beautiful little face.

Tractor Rides

Every day when Chris comes home from work he heads out to the fields. Harley & Zoe beg to go every time. So often either Chris will take one of them or I will bring them out for rides. This is a few snapshots I got of them taking a ride last week. Oh what are they going to do when the baby comes???
